Srinagar: Suspected militants have abducted four police personnel in south Kashmir’s Shopian district, sources said on Friday.
The abducted include 3 Special Police Officers (SPOs) and 1 Constable, they said.
They have been identified as SPOs Tajaullah Lone, Firdous Ahmad and Kulwant Singh, all three from Bategund, village near Kapren Shopian.
The fourth, a Constable has been identified as Nisar Ahmad from Kapren.
Local sources said that suspected militants abducted the said cops from their houses.
A manhunt has been launched in the area.
