Ganderbal 28 April (KNZ): In a concerted effort, the Indian Army 34 Assam Rifles and CRPF 118 BN Gund on Sunday taking a part of rescued a Tavera carrying 8 passengers after it fell into a Nallah Sindh along the Srinagar Leh Highway at Gagengeer Sonamarg in Ganderbal District.

“Today afternoon, a Tavera vehicle being driven by a civilian driver carrying 8 passengers of tourists moving from Sonamarg to Srinagar, develop a mechanical fault and went down.

Timely rescue operations by CRPF 118 BN,34 Assam Rifles along with Police and civil administration,”4 tourists succumbed to injuries. Others were shifted to nearest hospital for treatment.KNZ
