Four persons, including 3 pregnant ladies, who had tested positive in Tral turn negative today: officials

Tral: One more tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) in Tral sub district of South Kashmir on Tuesday, taking total tally to sixty one now, while as four persons including three pregnant women, who were positive earlier turned negative.

Official sources said that a government employee, who is a resident of Satoora village in Aripal tehsil of Tral, was posted at Hamdard Grammar School quarantine centre in the outskirts of Tral, and was later quarantined, after some of his colleagues were found positive for COVID-19.

They said that his sample was taken by health team accordingly, and was sent to CD hospital Srinagar, where his test turned positive today.

Soon after the report came, a health team from Sub District Hospital (SDH) Tral, headed by Block Medical Officer, Dr. Bashir Malik and Dr. Zahoor Ahmad, rushed to the spot, where the person was quarantined, and are busy in tracing out the contacts and other details.

A medical officer in the hospital has however said that four persons who had tested positive earlier in Tral, including 3 pregnant ladies, were found negative today.

It is pertinent to mention here that the total tally of COVID-19 patients in Tral sub district is 61 now, with few of them recovered till today.
