Srinagar, Oct 25 (GNS): The strategic Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road was restored for vehicular traffic movement this evening after kept closed for almost two hours in view of repair of a bridge along the thoroughfare.

An official told GNS that the traffic movement was halted as support plates of the NS bridge, which had developed some damage, were being repaired by a Border Roads Organisation (BRO) team.

Soon after the repair, the road was made through for traffic which saw movement of hundreds of stranded vehicles on either side of the bridge. (GNS)
