Handwara : Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two over ground workers of Jaish e Mohammad militant outfit in North Kashmir’s Handwara town.
A senior police officer told Kashmir Despatch that in a joint operation a team of Army’s 30 RR, Handwara Police and CRPF arrested two over ground workers in Langate area of Handwara in north Kashmir’s Frontier District on Sunday.
Officer said that some ammunition including 3 AK magazines were recovered from their possession.
The officer identified both arrested OGW’s as Irshad Ahmad and Feroz Ahmad.
Meanwhile a case has been registered in this regard and further investigations has been taken up officer added.
