Handwara, June 14 (KS) : Two persons have received serious injuries in an incident of attack by a wild bear in Handwara village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.

An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that two persons identified as Mohammad Hamza son of Ghulam Hassan of Yaroo (56) and Mohammad Shafi Shah son of Ghulam Hassan Shah of Zand Batpora were attacked and injured near their agriculture fields, however were rescued by the locals.

He said both were immediately taken to nearby hospital where from doctors referred them to District Hospital Handwara for advanced treatment.
