Ganderbal 26【KNZ】:Jammu and Kashmir police today arrested three persons allegedly involved in illegal soil excavation and transportation in Ganderbal district .

A police spokesperson told ‘Kashmir News Zone-KNZ’ while specific information of illegal soil excavation SSP Ganderbal Mr Khalil Poswal constituted a team headed by DO Shadipora ASI Abdul Rashid

Police team raided shadipora near bank of Jhelum in Ganderbal and caught three people red-handed while excavating soil illegally. All the three accused were immediately arrested, he said, adding that one JCB and two tippers were also seized by the police under registration no. JK03-8045 and JK03-9268.

The accused has been identified as JCB Driver Sikander Ahmad Bhat S/O: Gh. Nabi R/O: Watlar, Tipper Driver Mohd. Amin Dar S/O: Habibullah R/O: Kharbag Waskura and Tipper Driver Mohd. Sultan Hajam S/O: Mohd. Ismail R/O: Kurhama

“A case has been registered under FIR no. 145/2018 U/S 188,447-A,120-B,427 RPC in police station Ganderbal and investigation was taken up,” he added.KNZ
