We have legally retrieved encroached Kahcharie land:Tehsilder Wakura Gh Mohd Bhat

Ganderbal 17 May (KNZ):Tehsilder Wakura today denied allegations made by a person on social media about anti-encroachement drive in a dab village of Wakura Tehsil.

Tehsildar wakura while talking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ said,”The person on social media has made baseless allegations against me.He has ill intentions to malign me.Actually he had encroched State/Kahchari land and when we took action against it he couldn’t bare it and in frustration uploaded a vedio on social media to defame me.”

We early issued notice to encroachers and when they did nothing after that we came into action and retrieved the encroached land and Khasri Number of the land is 808 and 809 .”Tehsilder said.

Tehsilder also said that I have done everything legally and locals in the village are hailing our efforts of retrieving encroached land .

During the anti- encroachement drive insulated wire fell down due to cutting of trees which resulted in minor incident where bike rider fell down.We apologise for that incident said Revenue officials

DO Shadipora visited the spot immediately and pacified the whole situation and the person who fell down

We strongly condemn the false narrative being peddled by the person on social media. He exploited the situation and made a video only to malign the image of the Tehsildar and concerned revenue officials and the police. Legal action would be taken against him for all his illegal activities,he added

Revenue officials of Wakura said ,social distancing was maintained during the drive and accusation of violating Lockdown is baseless .

They would like to thank general public of Dab Ganderbal of tehsil wakura who are fully cooperating with us and appreciating the work of concerned Tehsildar

They also said We are the servants of public not servants of few miscreants who have been troublesome for the whole public over the years.

The eviction drive will continue till all the illegally occupied land will be recovered for the use of general public.(KNZ)
