Bandipora, Dec 13: A-15-year-old motorcyclist died in a road accident in Mangnipora area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday.
An official said that Talib Bhat son of Tariq Ahmad, a resident of Nebirpora Bandipora lost control over his motorcycle and collided with a wall near Mangnipora masjid, leaving him critically injured.
The official said Talib was immediately rushed to a hospital in Bandipora where doctors referred him to Srinagar for specialised treatment.
However, he succumbled at Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.
The official said that a case was registered at concerned police station.
A pal of gloom descended in Nebrepora soon after his news reached this morning. People assembled at the house of the deceased to console his inconsolable family.
