June 01: On a specific information regarding illegal dumping of Commercial/Domestic gas cylinders, Srinagar Police along with concerned Executive Magistrate raided the spot and seized 150 illegally dumped gas cylinders in the rented shop of Ferooz Ahmad Wagay resident of Signoo Narbal Pulwama located at friends colony Aribagh Nowgam.
Officers have seized the illegally dumped gas cylinders in presence of the concerned Executive Magistrate. The shop has also been sealed by the Executive Magistrate in presence of respectable persons of the area.
The Shopkeeper has been arrested and shifted to Police Station Nowgam where he remains in custody.
Case FIR No. 83/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered and investigation has been initiated.
