Sopore, 20 November 2022: Continuing its efforts against drug peddling, Sopore Police arrested three notorious peddlers and recovered Psychotropic substances.
A police party of Police Station Sopore, while on patrolling at Shalpora Sopore, apprehended three persons who had attempted to evade the police party in a suspicious manner were caught tactfully.
On search, 12 bottles of Codeine (OTODRIL) were recovered from their possession. The persons have been identified as: 1. Nazir Ahmad Shah @Bedaan S/O Muhammad Yousuf Shah 2. Nasir Ahmad Shah @Anta S/O Muhammad Yousuf Shah both the residents of Neharpora Sopore and 3. Danish Yousuf Bhat S/O Muhammad Yousuf Bhat R/O Neharpora A/P Shalimar Colony Sopore.
In relation to this, case FIR No. 258/2022 U/s 8/22, 29 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
