Ganderbal:Annual Marathon event themed as “RUN FOR FUN” was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Armed Police 8th Battalion Manasbal under the supervision of commandent J S Jowher, in Ganderbal, today.
SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad Lone who was the Chief Guest accompanied with Guest of honour Principal Sainik School Manasbal Nazir Ahmad Dar flagged off the event and also participated in the event.
A large number of school children from District Ganderbal participated in the event.
SSP Ganderbal Shri Fayaz Ahmad Lone distributed the medals and certificates to the participants.
Speaking on the occasion SSP Ganderbal & commandent 8th Battalion praised the enthusiasm of the youth and assured that J&K Police will help the youth in honring their talent. He also said that conducting such events, sports festivals and other activities will be a permanent process of J & K Police.
