TRAL : People found the remains of body parts of slain militants killed in Chewa Ullar area of South Kashmir’s Tral on Friday. These militants who are believed to be locals were buried in Handwara.

Local sources told that near the encounter site after the withdrawal of government forces people recovered some remains of body parts (bones and flesh) of killed militants. These remains of body parts (few pieces of charred flesh and bones) were buried in the native graveyards of slain militants.

Sources said that charred foot of a militant was recovered from the encounter site while others said that small body parts of slain militants were found. These parts were buried at three different places.

Local sources said that some parts were buried at Midoora Tral at the ancestral graveyard of militant Qasim Shah. Some parts were laid to rest at Martyar’s graveyard near Eidgah Trali Payeen, in local village of militant Basit Ahmad Parray and other parts were buried at Koil Sikhargah Tral, in the ancestral graveyard of militant Harris Mansoor.

People also offered funeral prayers in absentia for these militants.

Pertinently, bodies of three slain militants were charred and some of their mortal remains had remained beneath the debris.

People while visiting the encounter site recovered those remains under debris. KNT
