Ganderbal (Wayil) 14 April (KNZ):The blocking of Padshahi canal in Wayil due to widening of wayil to Upper-Wayil road, which caters around five blocks of agricultural land in Ganderbal and Srinagar Districts.
The farmers yesterday demanded immediate restoration of agriculture canal for smooth farming activities.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal Mr Shafqat Iqbal said, we directed to concerned officials to restore water supply of farmers for agriculture activities
Qazi Firdous Hussain told Kashmir News Zone-KNZ that the Water has been restored in Padshahi canal within no time for smooth farming activities
Meanwhile Farmers thanks to Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Mr Shafqat Iqbal , Executive Engineer R&B Mr Sajad Ahmad and Contractor Qazi Firdous for immediate action and restored water supply on Padshahi Canal.KNZ
