Newly born baby found abandoned in Bandipora

Srinagar, Feb 19 (KS) : A newly born baby was found from a drain in Ajar area of Bandipora on Sunday.

A police official told the Kashmir Scroll that a newly born baby was found abandoned in a drain near Peer Masjid Ajar.

He said that police station Bandipora was informed following which SHO along with party reached on Spot and took the body into custody.

He said that baby has taken to the hospital for DNA sampling and further investigation has been taken up. (KS)
