National Spokesperson Human Rights Sarakshan Sansthan – HRSS greets nation on Independence Day on Wednesday Sh D S Ranotra from the city of temples conveyed his wishes to the citizens on the occasion of 72nd Independence Day.

He added that we heading towards growth and day by day our economy is also growing but in terms of the growth of mind, nature we are lacking somewhere.

Though the country might have prospered, but not the people, though India earned its freedom 72 years ago but still there lies a question….”Are we really free? Religious discrimination, disrespecting elders, child labour, eve-teasing, casteism. He added why use the word FREEDOM, when we aren’t really free?

This Independence Day, let’s say no Casteism, Child labour, Poverty, Religious discrimination, disrespecting elders, uncleanliness and unhygienicess, eve-teasing and most importantly Women Abuse.

He also pointed out how from “a devastated colonial economy”, India has reached where it stands today.

Highlighting some of the pressing issues that have rattled India since its Independence, the HRSS National Spokesperson said, “The task of nation-building will not be complete till we free every Indian from the constraints of illiteracy, hunger, poverty & disease. Let us pledge all our selves for this task. Jai Hind!”
