Pulwama, Feb 22 : A 21-year-old youth from South Kashmir’s Shopian is winning hearts through his talented designing work and photography.

Saqib Muzaffar Rather a resident of Awneera village in Zainapora belt of Shopian who has completed his B. Tech from Punjab Technical University Ludhiana has started his graphic designing work during Covid-19 lockdown.

Rather while talking to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that during Covid-19 lockdown, he started taking interest in graphic designing and photography and within days he started getting orders.

“I made a poster of Qabul Bukhari’s song after which orders started pouring in. Then I designed the poster of Ishfaq Kawa’s Song Zarum Na Doorer,” he said, adding that since then he has made posters for several songs of famous Kashmiri singers.

“I am also contributing my photos to Shutterstock and Pixabay, Rather said, adding that he has received an overwhelming response from everywhere despite not learning designing and photography from anywhere.

“I am enjoying my artwork very much as it is art through which people have started knowing me and I believe that if a person will give his 100 per cent for any work he will get success,” he said.

Rather said that the youth of J&K are very much talented but there is a need to work on your specialities and serve your motherland in a better possible way—(KNO)
