Ganderbal 14 June (KNZ):The long pending demand of the people of Chappergund and adjoining areas after Nunner-Gutlibagh road work has been approved and the work will start from next month

Locals of the area said the road is in dilapidated condition from last 7 years due to which commuters were facing trouble

This road is part of 93 MW Ganderbal power project.The road approaches to proposed water tunnel for the power project.”

They said the work on the road was taken by Power Development Corporation (PDC) 7 years ago for widening and upgradation and the authorities are playing hide and seek with us.

When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ contacted Power Development Corporation (PDC) Executive Engineer Shabir Ahmad he said ”During a meeting with higher authorities the remaining road work has been approved and the work will start from next month

Meanwhile,locals of Chappergund and adjoining areas have thanked the DC Ganderbal and Executive Engineer PDC for taking the issue seriously.
