Kangan, A complete shutdown is being observed in central Kashmir’s Kangan town on Wednesday, on the first death anniversary of local youth who was killed during allegedly Police action last year.

Local sources said that all shops, business establishments, and traffic is off the roads.

The local youth identified as Gowhar Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Rehman Rather (22) of Kangan town, was killed on 03 April last year during government forces action in Kangan market.

According to locals, people of Kangan and its adjoining areas are visiting the home of the slain to offer condolences.
