Bandipora 05 August : Yesterday two boys from Bandipora were drowned in Madhumati stream in afternoon. After hearing the cries from crowd, policemen deployed in DPL Bandipora rushed to the spot and dive into deep waters to successfully rescue one boy and sent him to hospital but unfortunately another boy couldn’t be saved.
Ct.Fayaz Ahmad immediately dived in gushing waters to rescue one boy. He was assisted by CT. Jahangir Ahmad and Follower Tahir bhat of DPL Bandipora.
SSP Bandipora Sh.Rahul Malik-IPS in order to encourage their courageous and brave efforts by risking their own lives rewarded the police officials with cash prize.
