JAMMU, DECEMBER 18: Chairman Police Recruitment Board (SIs) has notified for all those candidates of Kashmir Zone / Jammu Zone who have qualified PET/PST for the post of Sub-Inspector in J&K Police for written examinations that the said examination has been stayed by the Hon’ble High Court vide interim orders dated 25.09.2017 and 06.10.2017 passed in SWP No.2360/2017 titled Asif Iqbal and others V/s State & others, SWP No. 2452/2017 titled Imran Khan and others V/s State & others and 2451/2017 titled Mohd. Yaseen Malik and others V/s State & others. The operative portion of the Interim Court order is reproduced as under:-
“Meanwhile, subject to objections from the other side and till next date of hearing, respondents are directed to defer the written test for the post of Sub-Insxpector in Executive / Armed wing of J&K Police so far it pertains to Rajouri and Poonch Districts until further orders from this Court.
In view of the above referred Hon’ble Court direction, as and when the direction from Hon’ble High Court are received for conducting the written examination, the dates will be communicated accordingly.
