Ganderbal 11 June(KNZ):Amid lockdown in view of COVID-19 pandemic, scores of tippers and tractors were seized during the raids in various parts of the district Ganderbal.
District Mining Officer Mohammad Manzoor on receiving incessant complaints from the locals conducted raids in wahidpora,Watalbagh, Kangan,Nagbal and other areas to check operations of illegal mining in the District .
During the raids 3 tippers and 3 tractors were seized on spot in Wahidpora.
It is pertinent to mention that people from these areas have hailed the action of the Geology Mining Department
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted District Mining officer Ganderbal Mr Manzoor Ahmad,he said that we seized 3 tippers and 3 tractors and one tipper who violation the norms and the vehicles seized on the spot and later handed over to the police station Kheerbawani.KNZ
