Ganderbal 10 June【KNZ】:Four persons were killed and one person seriously injured on sunday afternoon when a car they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Zojila on Srinagar leh highway
Reports said that the car (bearing registration number JK06 0985) was heading to Sonamarg from Zero point Zojila when it met with an accident and rolled down and fell into a deep gorge near baltal base camp at Zojila
The vehicle carrying five persons skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge, resulting into death of four and injuries to one person
According to police official said that locals along with the police immediately reached at the spot and shifted the injured to nearbh Hospital, where doctors declared four of them as brought dead.
“The seriously injured were shifted to SKIMS soutlra for treatment,” he said.
The deceased were identified as Ajaz Rather S/o Ghulam Mohi u din R/O Ashmuqam Anantnag, Sabzar Ahmed Baba S/o Ghulam Nabi R/O Ashmuqam Anand Nagbal, Koser Ahmed Peer S/o Tahir Ahmed Peer R/O Ashmuqam Anantnag, Shabir Ahmed wagay
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigation, said an official.KNZ
