Ganderbal :Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of Drugs from the society, Ganderbal Police arrested a notorious Drug Peddler in the jurisdiction of PS Kangan and recovered Contraband Substance from his possession.
On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Sandeep Gupta-IPS, Police Party led by SHO PS Kangan under the supervision of SDPO Kangan Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS during routine naka checking at Mammer apprehended a suspected person & on his personal search Cannabis Powder like substance was recovered & seized on the spot. The accused identified as Nazir Ah Mir S/O Ab Aziz Mir R/O Mammer Kangan.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 10/2024 under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Kangan and further investigation taken up.
Community members are requested to come forward with information regarding drug peddling in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly as per law.
