Bandipora 29 Sep (KNZ): Bandipora Police continuing its war against drugs arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession in Hajin.
Acting on a specific information police party of PS Hajin led by SHO PS-Hajin Inspector Zahoor Ahmad under the supervision of SDPO Hajin Sh.Sajad Ahmad- JKPS laid a surprise naka at Hakbara Hajin and during checking suspicious movement of a person was noticed and he was apprehended and upon his personal search Charas weighing about 200 Grms was recovered from his possession.The accused has been identified as Farooq Ahmad Malla S/O late Sultan Malla R/O Yarbalpora Hakabara Hajin.
In this regard,Case FIR registered under relevant sections of NDPS ACT in Police Station Hajin and further investigation into the matter has been started.KNZ
