Srinagar 10 June: Dr Javaid Ahmad on Thursday assumed the charge as Chief Education Officer Ganderbal.

Soon after taking over, Dr Javaid convened a meeting with the officers and officials of the CEO office and stressed the need for cooperation and involvement of all the stakeholders, particularly the teaching community, students and the civil society in making education sector vibrant in Ganderbal.

Talking about the priorities that he will initiate, Dr Javaid said that strengthening of basic infrastructure, the optimal use of available resources for development of education and resolving the issues of teachers and students will be his top priority.

He also laid stress on strengthening of the online education system amid covid pandemic.

Dr Javaid called for maintaining, discipline, transparency and accountability in the Department and ensuring that the teachers and the non-teaching staff are not put to any inconvenience during disposal of service and official matters.

CEO Ganderbal further stressed on the concerned officers and other officials to work with zeal, dedication and honesty to achieve the goals of the department.
