Ganderbal 17 April (KNZ):The DDC Kangan-C Mudasir Majeed took an extensive tour of various areas of Chattergul to assess the situation after incessant heavy rainfall in the Ganderbal district.
During the tour, the DDC inspected various areas like Chattergul Bala ,Birendara and adjoining areas.
He apealed the concerned officers for immediate repairs to prevent any untoward incident.
He said that fortunately no incident of loss of lives have been reported in the district and appealed to the people especially living in flood prone areas to take utmost precautionary measures by avoiding venturing in and around rivers during heavy rains to prevent any untoward incident.
The DDC also interacted with various deputations of people during the visit who apprised his about their problems and issues due to heavy rainfall.
He heard them patiently and assured of every possible support from the DDC fund in resolving their genuine issues.KNZ
