SRINAGAR AUGUST 02:- In order to frame out an action plan to expand car parking facilities along Dal Lake-Boulevard Road Axis to overcome traffic Jams and ensure smooth traffic movement on the heavy traffic route, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad Tuesday undertook a walking tour from Buchwara Dal lake to Zabarwan Park via Nehru Park to have onsite inspection of different existing and proposed car parking sites.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner was accompanied by SP Traffic, Chief Planning Officer, Tehsildar Khanyar, besides other Officers from R&B, Revenue, Police, Traffic, Wakf Board and other Departments.
At Auqaf Parking opposite Ghat No. 03 of Dal Lake, the DC took a detailed round of the site and asked the concerned Department to annexe the additional nearby land with exist
