Srinagar, Aug 16 (KNO): COVID-19 on Sunday claimed 13 more lives in Jammu and Kashmir, thus taking the toll of deaths due to Novel Coronavirus to 550 in the Union Territory.

Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that 13 patients who died today include a 75-year-old man from Ellahibagh Srinagar, a 60-year-old woman from Rainawari Srinagar, a 55-year-old woman from Laripora Pahalgam, a 55-year-old man from Budgam, a 75-year-old man from Alamgari Bazar Srinagar, a 53-year-old man from Soura, a 75-year-old man from Wakura Ganderbal, a 95-year-old woman from Buchpora Srinagar, a 75-year-old man from Tulmula Ganderbal, a 65-year-old woman from Narbal, a 60-year-old woman from Tral Pulwama, a 70-year-old woman from Pampore Pulwama and a 65-year-old woman from Pampore Pulwama.

An official from SKIMS said that a patient from Ellahibagh Srinagar who was admitted on 12 August, a patient from Rainawari who was admitted on 05 August, a patient from Laripora Pahalgam who was admitted on 19 July, a patient from Budgam who was admitted on 15 August, a patient from Alamgari Bazar who was admitted on 05 August, a patient from Soura who was admitted on 31 July, a patient from Wakura Ganderbal who was admitted on 15 August, a patient from Buchpora who was admitted on 12 August and a patient from Tulmula Ganderbal who was admitted on 16 August, died at SKIMS in last 24 hours.

An official from SMHS told KNO that a patient from Narbal who was admitted on 10 August, a patient from Tral who was admitted on 05 August, a 70-year-old woman from Pampore who was admitted on 12 August and a 65-year-old woman also from Pampore who was admitted on 07 August, died on Sunday.

With 13 more deaths, the death toll in Jammu and Kashmir has reached to 550 including 509 from Kashmir division and 41 from Jammu division—(KNO)
