Bandipora 01 September 2021: Bandipora police acting against illegal timber smuggling,seized illicit forest timber in Aloosa.
Acting on a specific information about timber smuggling in village Aloosa , a police party of Police Post Aloosa led by DO P/P Aloosa SI Shakeel Ahmad under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shri Mohammad Idrees-JKPS raided the particular spot and recovered illicit forest timber from the residential house of one person identified as Mohmad Yousaf Dar S/o GH Mohmad Dar R/o Kanibath Aloosa.
In this regard Case FIR No. 145/2021 under relevant sections of IPC & Forest Act has been registered in PS Bandipora. Investigation of the case is going on.
