Ganderbal 17 Sep (KNZ):A team of Geology and Mining Department under the supervision of District Mineral Officer Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi with Support of Ganderbal Police seized 1 tractor and 5 tippers which were involved in illegal extraction and transportation minor mineral from Ganderbal district
District Mining Officer Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi on receiving incessant complaints from the locals conducted raids in Shadipora and other adjoining areas to check operations of illegal mining in the District .
During the raids 1 tractor and 5 tippers were seized on spot in Shadipora
DMO Ganderbal said that the Department will not allow such unlawful activities.
He further warned that if any person found indulging in illegal mining the Department will take strict action against him under law.
When Kashmir News Zone-KNZ Contacted District Mining officer Ganderbal Er Zulfikar Mohd Shafi,he said that we seized 1 tractor and 5 tippers who violation the norms and the vehicles seized on the spot and later handed over to the police post Shadipora.KNZ
