Ganderbal 16 May (KNZ): Geology & Mining Department Ganderbal conducted a naka in various areas of Ganderbal today wee hours early t and seized 4 vehicles involved in illegal mining.
Official sources said that District Mineral Officer Majid Aziz Bhat along with his team, with the assistance of SHO lar Gulzar conducted nakas and seized 4 vehicles including 3 tippers and 1 tractor for illegal mining.
DMO Ganderbal said that the illegal mining shall not be allowed at all and action under law will be taken against the violators.
He appealed public to get e-challan from Lessee, crusher on fixed rates for buying material.KNZ
