Ganderbal 11 Jan (KNZ):Tulmulla residents are up in arms against Jal Shakti department Ganderbal as they failed to commission water supply scheme in the area.

Tulmulla village, comprising of a population of more than 12000, just 5 kilometers from the district headquarter.

Locals alleged that the department has already sanctioned scheme before 3 years ago but department don’t bothered to commission this scheme.

They said the concerned contractor layed Pipes from Shafa-Kadal to Tulmulla 2 years ago but the department failed to use this scheme.

They also alleged the department misused govt funds as they didn’t connect pipeline properly to the area.They said the department grided the pipe in middle .

Locals said Jal Shakti department failed to process of NOC from PMGSY department and we suffer due to low pressure of water supply.

locals alleged that funds used in the scheme has been vested because it didn’t served the cause of the locals.

Assistant Executive Engineer Jalshakti department Ganderbal Faizan Ahmad talking to Kashmir News Zone-KNZ on phone,said this scheme is in languishing program and will be functional after three months.KNZ
