Wildlife department captured 140 wild animals found in human habitate

Ganderbal 31 Dec (KNZ):In the current year 2021 wildlife department issued a report which says that 2 persons were killed during Human-wildlife conflict in Ganderbal District.

In the report wildlife department also mentioned that they did around 186 activities to capture wild animals which were roaming in human habitate but they were able to capture 140 and rehabilitated at their natural habitat.

The report also mentioned that 19 civilians among some paramilitary forces were injured by wildbear during this year.

The kin of one of the deceased who died in the bear attack was reliefed with 3 lakh and kin of 2nd who was also killed in bear attack haven’t received any relief by department sofar,said the report

Among the captured wild animals most of them were Black bear,BearCub,Leapard,Monkey,Snake,Rabit,Wolf,Porcupine,Wiper Wild Cat and other wild animals.

It has come to forth that employee of the wild life department are not equipped well to dealt with these wild animals who are found in human habitate.

Local residents of Ganderbal have appreciated efforts of wildlife department for quick action to capture wild animals when they were found around human habitate thus they saved life of lot of people.

When Contacted Ranger Wildlife department Ferooz Nazir he said ,we have been prove actively vigilant of any presence of wild animals in human habitate and we took swift actions to rescue wild animals and kept human population out of danger.KNZ
