Awantipora 08 Oct: Acting tough against the drug peddlers,Awantipora Police arrested two drug peddlers and recovered contraband substance from their possession.
Police party of Police Post Reshipora on Naka duty arrested two drug peddlers when the arrested person was moving in a suspicious circumstances at Panzgam Awantipora
The arrested drug peddlers have been identified as:
1)Mushtaq Ahmad Dar S/O Abdul Gani Dar R/O Panzgam
2) Mohd Subhan Dar S/O Gh Mohd Dar R/ O Panzgam
40 Kgs of contraband substances grinded Cannabis carrying in two nylon bags was recovered from the possession of arrested persons.
Case vide FIR number 175/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Awantipora.
Community members are requested to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their neighbourhood. Persons found indulging in drug peddling will be dealt strictly as per law.
