Mar 03 KNZ: In order to empower women of the region, Base Research certification programme under the aegis of Op Sadhbhavana was org by Zainakot Army Camp, 2RR in Sep 17. Reps from Base Research Centre, Delhi carried out test and validation of trg imparted to women at WEC, Durbal by Army Camp Zainakot. Trainees were checked and tested on stitching skills, embroidery and garment making . 30 women from the neighboring villages cleared the test.
Brig T M Pattnaik gave away the certificates to these women and motivated them to excel further in their fields. He also told these women that being on your own financially is the best thing that they can do for the betterment of themselves and the society.
These trained women now being provided with opportunity to gain profits out of their skill as well as guided on entrepreneurship.
The efforts have been widely appreciated by the local awam.
