Kargil, Nov 20, 2023: To ensure the widespread implementation of government flagship schemes, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organized today at the Panchayat Halqa Stongday in the Zanskar Block.

At the event, Block-level officers from various departments, including RD&PRD, Health, PHE, Handloom, FCS&CA, and other relevant line departments, were present.

The Nodal Officer/BDO Zanskar, Tsewang Rigzin, provided a comprehensive briefing to all Panchayat members during the day, covering various beneficiary-oriented schemes and elaborating on the details of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY).

A thorough health screening was carried out, incorporating the online registration of eligible beneficiaries for Ayushman Bharat. Six Golden cards were distributed, and an equivalent number of beneficiaries were successfully registered. As part of the camp, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDS) screening was conducted, with 11 individuals undergoing tuberculosis screening, and samples were collected accordingly.

As part of the program, the Agriculture Department conducted e-KYC for 8 beneficiaries under PM-KISAN and completed the Aadhar seeding process for 10 individuals.

The camp prioritized addressing eKYC-related issues to facilitate the accessibility of financial incentives under various ongoing schemes of different departments.

Sarpanch Stongday Panchayat, Pasang Ihawang, along with officers, officials from line departments, and Panchayat members, warmly welcomed the IEC van.

The Nodal Officer expressed gratitude to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and cooperation, emphasizing the collective effort in realizing the envisioned goals of the Central Government.
