Ganderbal: In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing efforts to eradicate the drug menace, Ganderbal Police has detained two notorious drug peddlers under PIT NDPS Act, after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
The two notorious drug peddlers, Danish Ahmad Dar S/O Gh Mohd Dar R/O Wakura Ganderbal and Shahjehan Ahmad Parrah S/O Nazir Ahmad Parrah R/O Zazna Ganderbal were involved in drug peddling mainly targeting the youths. After obtaining formal detention orders, they have been detained and lodged in Central Jail Kotbhalwal Jammu and District Jail Udhampur respectively.
Ganderbal Police is fully committed towards protecting the society from the menace of drugs. These detentions are a step forward in dismantling the networks responsible for spreading this menace.
