Ganderbal :Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society and taking stringent action against the Drug Peddlers. Ganderbal Police has launched a hunt against Narcotic Peddling in the District.
Today, on reliable information under the jurisdiction of Police Station Lar, Police Party led by SHO Gulzar Ahmad apprehended two notorious Drug Peddlers at Tehsilbagh Khranihama and during their personal search, Contraband Substance, 700 grams Bhung Patri recovered from their possession.
The accused persons were identified as Aqib Nazir Wani S/O Nazir Ahmad Wani and Shamim Ahmad Bhat S/O Ghulam Nabi Both residents of Tullamulla Ganderbal.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 64/2022, under relevant sections of law stands registered at PS Lar and investigation taken up.
General public is requested to co-operate with Ganderbal Police by way of sharing inputs related to Drug peddling so that culprits could be curbed effectively under law.
