Gamderbal 31 Oct:13 RR Bn (KUMAON)* under the aegis of HQ 3 SECT RR organised a two day ADVENTURE CAMP wef 30-31 October 2020 at Ajas for children of their AOR. A total of 55 children attended the camp.
The camp started off with a Career Counseling Session at the COB & offered opportunity to the participating children to instill a spirit of adventurism & personality development. During their stay, children enthusiastically participated in various activities, including trekking, camp set-up, various games, career counseling & also survival cooking.
The camp provided an opportunity for the children to explore the nature, make new friends, develop new & diverse interests & create long lasting memories.
During the camp, the Battalion also intended to motivate the kids towards adoption of new hobbies, shouldering new responsibilities, soaring ambitions & also achieving the same.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the camp & their parents also appreciated the Indian Army’s efforts & requested for more such activities for their bright future.
