Strict action under Law will be taken against traffic violators.

Srinagar 25 Nov:Acting on the regular complaints today traffic police booked/seized many Passenger Vechiles which are operating from Srinagar stands to leh/kargil.

The drivers of passengers Vechiles avoid booking of passengers in there Vechiles and it has been seen that they are loading there Vechiles with huge quantities of goods and essential commodities and on reaching kargil and Leh they sell goods/essential commodities in the markets at high rates thus gain a lot of money in the black marketing.
On the other hand the Passengers are suffering.

Moreover, it has been seen that whenever concerned authorities close the Srinagar -Leh National Highway ,due to snow ,slippery or other conditions these drivers starts protesting on the both sides of the Zojila road.

While talking with our correspondent the passengers said that most of the Vechiles plying from Srinagar to Leh/kargil are not booking passengers in stands as our fare for the journey is fixed and these drivers on the other side has started a business they load there Vechiles with different kinds of goods/vegetables/fruits etc in packed boxes and later-on sell these items on high rates in the markets of kargil/leh,this is happening since long ,but concerned govt authorities are mute spectators.

Now through gulisthan news we are appealing the traffic police and other concerned departments to take strict action against this illegal trade.
