Srinagar, May 18 (KS) : Police in north Kashmir’s Baramulla on Thursday claimed to have booked three persons under public safety Act for being involved in anti national activities.

In a statement police said Baramula Police booked 3 persons namely Tawseef Ahmad Parray @ Gasha of Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @ Gulla of Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @ Shad Ponz of Singhpora Pattan under Public Safety Act for being involved in Anti- National Activities.

Acting tough against ANEs Baramulla Police booked two persons namely Tawseef Ahmad Parray @ Gasha S/O Ghulam Hassan R/O Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @ Gulla S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @ Shad Ponz S/O Ghulam Ahmad R/O Singhpora Pattan under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent Authority

The booked persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal Jail Jammu

Pertinent to mention that many cases are registered against these persons and were involved in anti-national activities*. Despite their involvement in many FIR’s they did not mend their anti national activities read the statement—[KS]
