Ganderbal : In the loving Memory of J&K Police Martyrs, ten days long festival today concluded at DPL Ganderbal with huge fervor and enthusiasm.

The festival which was started on 20th of October 2022 got concluded today with Mini Marathon “Run For Unity” and Martyrs Police Premier League Volleyball Tournament Final at DPL Ganderbal.

The Mini Marathon “Run For Unity” was flagged off by SSP Ganderbal *Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS, alongwith Addl.SP Ganderbal Shri Feroz Yeyha-JKPS.

The event was organised to foster the spirit of unity and integrity of the nation among the participants which started from DPL Ganderbal covering a distance of about 03 Kms. More than 100 students of different age groups of District Ganderbal participated with keen interest and enthusiasm.

Further, Grand finale of Martyrs Police Premier League Volleyball Tournament was played between BHSS Safapora and BHSS Manigam which was won by BHSS Safapora.

SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS appreciated all the participants who took part in the different cultural, sports and educational events which were organised by Ganderbal Police. He also stated that Ganderbal Police will also organise more such events in future also to explore the talent of the local youth of the District.
Moreover SSP Ganderbal also thanked Cheif Education Officer Ganderbal for wholehearted support and assistance during these events.

In the Mini Marathon, Danish Manzoor of BHSS Waskura, Ubaid Hameed of BHSS Batwina and Arsalan Sultan of BHSS Batwina got 1st, 2nd and 3rd postions respectively and were awarded with Cash rewards and appreciation Certificates by SSP Ganderbal.

The final ceremony of ten days long festival got finally concluded with the Award distribution ceremony of Martyrs Police Premier League Ganderbal. Both Winner and Runner-up teams were awarded with cash prizes and Trophies.

Finally, Shri Muzaffar Jan-JKPS DySP DAR Ganderbal presented special vote of thanks to all the participants who took part in the different sports events organised by Ganderbal Police.
