Bandipora:13 RR Bn KUMAON under the aegis of HQ 3 SECT RR organised a VISIT TO AVIATION BASE on 02 Nov 2020 at Manasbal for children of their AOR. A total of 52 students and 5 Teachers of AGS Aragam and from other Schools visited the location.
The children were shown the functionalities of Aviation helicopters and their utilities in all kinds of Ops taken on by the INDIAN ARMY in various conditions. They were shown various parts of the helicopters employed in regular events.
The students were also show the war memorial where, they paid homage to the martyrs who laid their during various Operations and made the supreme sacrifice.
Later they were taken to repair and maintenance hanger. They were shown the regular maintenance of the helicopters and also were told the importance of carrying out the maintenance.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Aviation Base & appreciated the Indian Army’s efforts & requested for more such activities for their bright future.
