Ganderbal:With an aim to strengthen relations with public & also to establish mass contacts, Today SSP Ganderbal shri Khalil Ahmad PoswaI-JKPS conducts interaction session with respectable representatives of different communities at District Police Office Ganderbal.

DySP DAR Shri Umar Rashid-JKPS, alongwith SHO Ganderbal Insp Khursheed Ahmad and DO Nagbal SI Waseem Gull also attended the public darbar. The meeting was attended by different community groups representatives viz, transporters president, traders president, Masjid communities and Mohalla communities representatives from the different areas of District Ganderbal.

The main agenda of the meeting was to seek cooperation from general public in adhering guidelines to restrain the spread of Covid-19 and in eradicating social evils to make the atmosphere peaceful. SSP Ganderbal seeks contribution of these representatives of different communities to make peaceful conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra (SANJY -2020) in coming days and also requested them to educate moral education among children, as well as setup such classes to maintain constructive role in society.

The participants highlighted various issues of public importance & some issues related to civil administration.

People of the area appreciated the step of local Police for their outreach to public and supporting hands in the area during pandemic & bringing crime rate down in general area.

Participants assured their full cooperation in sharing information regarding social elements creating havoc in the peaceful atmosphere.

Referring to the issues highlighted by the participants, SSP Ganderbal assured them that the issues pertaining to police will be solved in shortest possible time and matters pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their redressal on priority. He also asked them to keep cooperating with police as in the past so that the motto of a peaceful atmosphere in the area is achieved.
