Kargil, Jan 11: In connection with the celebration of the 75th Republic Day 2024, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of SDM Drass, Vishal Atri today at Conference Hall Drass. All the officers of different departments were present at the meeting.
The SDM instructed the officers of the relevant departments to oversee preparations, including seating arrangements, march-past parade, cultural programs, participant transportation, medical/first aid provisions, and installation of the PA system for Republic Day.
After the discussion, it was decided that the celebration of the 75th Republic Day shall be held at Higher Secondary Ground Drass. The chief guest shall hoist the National Flag. Different contingents from Ladakh Police, NCC, Govt. and Private Schools shall participate in the march past.
Students from different schools and private organizations will also participate in the cultural program. The full dress rehearsal shall be held on 24 January 2024. The SDM stressed that all concerned officers celebrate the national event with zeal and zest.
