Leh, Oct. 24 (KS): Following a successful visit to the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, President Draupadi Murmu of India is scheduled to undertake a special visit to Ladakh on October 31.

according to reliable sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll has been informed by trusted sources that during her two-day stay in the Ladakh region, the president will actively participate in the grand celebrations of Union Territory Day and immerse herself in the vibrant culture of Ladakh.

Insiders from the civil department revealed to News Agency Kashmir Scroll that the initiative taken by students and teachers from various schools in the Leh district holds special significance.

On October 31, students will showcase their exceptional skills at the Raj Niwas.

This celebration, aptly named “Ladakh’s Utsav,” aims to highlight the rich heritage and artistic prowess of the region.

Sources further added that the visit will not only pay tribute to the remarkable achievements of the LG government in Ladakh but also provide a powerful platform to amplify the voices and aspirations of the local population.

During her previous visit to Srinagar earlier this month, President Draupadi Murmu urged the youth to embrace the path of development and discipline for the holistic growth of the nation.

She delivered a speech at the 20th Convocation of the University of Kashmir, where she presented medals and degrees to the scholars of the varsity.(KS)
