Ganderbal:Under Police Flag Day Week 2023; On the directions of SSP Ganderbal Shri Nikhil Borkar-IPS Ganderbal Police today organized “Run for Unity” from Repora to Police Station Lar in which School Students, Youth of the District participated with zeal & zest.
Besides Officers & Officials of Police also participated in the event.
Moreover, Debate Competition was held at GGHSS Tulmulla in which Students of various schools participated with huge fervour and enthusiasm.
The Title of the debate was “Role of Police in Nation Building”.
The participants in the debate thrown light on the Contribution & Role of Police towards society & its welfare. The main aim of organising this debate was to motivate & appreciate the students for achieving their academic goals, success & refraining them from Drug Addiction.
It is pertinent to mention here that Ganderbal Police is organising different Sports events like volleyball, Painting competition, Singing Competition, Marathon & other co-curricular activities in the District for a week long period. These different events will Culminate on 31st October 2023.
The Police Flag Day week is dedicated to all the Police Martyrs who have sacrificed their lives in the service of nation.
At the Conclusion of the events, 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders were awarded with Cash Prizes, Momentos & Appreciation Certificates.
