Srinagar, Sep 09, KDC: The Indian and Pakistani army on Wednesday evening exchanged gunfire along Line of Control in Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence Sources told news agency Kashmir Dot Com-(KDC) that on Monday evening Pakistani troops violated ceasefire by resorting to unprovoked heavy firing and motor shelling to target forward areas of Poonch sector.

‘’Indian army is giving befitting reply to the Pakistani troops who violated ceasefire’’, they added.

Meanwhile, the heavy exchange of fire was on when reports last came in. However there were no immediate reports of any untoward incident.(KDC)
