Srinagar, May 21 (KS) :- A non-local drowned in river Jhelum in Padgampora Awantipora area of South Kashmir Pulwama district even as he was rescued by his colleagues.
An official told news agency—Kashmir Scroll that a non Local labour namely Ajar son of Hakeem din resident of Divakar Delhi drowned in river Jehlum at Padgampora Awantipora Pulwama.
However, he was rescued by the timely action of his colleagues and was later shifted to PHC Awantipora.
He was later referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation—(KS)
